Harvey James, Jr.

Harvey Walter James, Jr. , 78, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at his home.

Mr. James was born September 13, 1944, to the late Harvey Walter James Sr. and the late Juanita Kerr James. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Faye May, and sister Diane Gray.

Harvey retired from Charlotte Fire Department after 25 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 30,2023, at 11:00 am, at the Family's Home, 25735 Preston Lane, Albemarle, officiated by Pastor Tony Thomas.

Survivors include wife, Linda Faye James of Albemarle, NC, sons, Chad James and Travis James (Brandy H.), grandchildren, Jesse James, and Colton James, brothers, Ricky James, and  David James, and sister, Debbie James.
