Harvey Kiker

Harvey Loyde Kiker, 66, of 16716 Tyson Road, Albemarle, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Mr. Kiker was born June 15, 1945 in Stanly County to the late Harvey Pierce Kiker and the late Lena Mae Harvell Kiker. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Anthony Ledbetter and Rev. Sam Hopkins. At other times, the family will meet at his home. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jane Kiker, of the home; his daughters, Kristi Ledbetter and her husband, Kevin, of Albemarle, Tammi McIlwaine and her husband, Gary, of Oakboro, Karen Efird of Albemarle, Lori Barbee and her husband, Alan, of Oakboro, and Deanna Russell and her husband, Billy of Locust; his grandchildren, Karrington, Mya, Amber, Holly, Lindsey, Hannah, Dustin, Bradley, and Nathan; and his sisters, Linda Shaffer of Norwood, Elaine Efird of Albemarle, Brenda Robinson of Albemarle, and Clair Bean of Albemarle.
