Hattie Mae Bryant, 100 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at her residence in Stanfield.
Hattie was born May 15, 1915 in Swain County to the late George Cicero Peck and Hattie Mae Arnold Peck. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lamar "Jack" Preston Bryant in 2003; daughters, Patricia Adams, and Debra Bryant; and sons, Gerald and Dennis Bryant.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Ave., Midland. The funeral service officiated by Doug Fincher will follow at 1:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd., Charlotte.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Bryant, Lamar Bryant, Jr., Joseph Bryant and Keith Bryant; daughters, Sandra Floyd of Stanfield, and Jane Burnette; as well as 28 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
