Hazel Bost

Hazel Teague Bost, 93, formally of Robert Bost Road of Midland, NC passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at her son’s home in Concord, NC. Mrs. Bost was born April 12, 1917 in Caldwell County to the late Wilson Thurman and Nora Teague. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Bost. She worked as a math teacher for Cabarrus County School System. She taught 35 years at Bethel Elementary School, and five years at Hartsell Middle School. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, active in the United Methodist Women and the choir. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 2, at Bethel United Methodist Church in the fellowship hall from 12 – 2 PM. The service will follow at 2 PM with the Rev. Mark Clontz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors are her son, Robert “Lynn” Bost and Debi of Concord; daughter, Betty Henderson and David of Winder, Georgia; sister, Edna Teague of Lenoir; grandchildren, Lori, Hillary, and Hailey; great grandchildren, Summer, Danielle and Zachary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Bethel UMC Building Fund, 12700 Idlebrook Road, Midland, NC 28107. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Bost family.
