Hazel Greene

Hazel Nash Wellmon Greene, 94, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019.

Mrs. Greene was born September 26, 1924 to the late Lee Coy and Ollie Elizabeth Wellmon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hoyle Wilson Greene, Sr.; daughter, Wanda Attar; three sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 12:45 pm, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Rd., Monroe. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Joe Query. Burial will conclude in the church cemetery.

Hazel is survived by son, Hoyle W. Greene, Jr. and wife Christy; daughter, Shari Dawn Geho and husband John; grandchildren, Jessica Brooke Greene, Sarah Lack and husband Joe, Ashley Geho, Joshua Greene, and Abigail Greene; six great-grandchildren.
