Hazel Huneycutt

Hazel Lee Scott Huneycutt, 95, passed away, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Spring Arbor in Albemarle. Born January 4, 1915 in Cabarrus County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Hubert W. Scott and the late Carrie Hinson Scott Austin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dee Roy Huneycutt in 1983. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8. Funeral service will be at West Oakboro Baptist Church on Thursday at 2. Rev. Joe Smith will officiate and burial will be in Oakboro Cemetery. Formerly of Oakboro, she was a self employed beautician in Oakboro and a member of West Oakboro Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister, Carol A. Lambert of Oakboro, NC and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N.
