Hazel Smith

Hazel Mae Mullis Smith, 85, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at University Place Nursing and Rehabilitation in Charlotte.

Hazel was born November 9, 1935 in North Carolina to the late James Bruce Mullis and the late Emma Faye Mullis.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Ned Lee Smith, Sr., brothers, James Sherrill Mullis and Jerrel Don Mullis.

The graveside service will be on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Cemetery in Locust officiated by Rev. Wally Gilmer. Burial will immediately follow at First Baptist Cemetery at 320 South Central Ave., Locust.

Survivors include son, Ned Lee Smith, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, grandson, Dustin Lee Smith of Stanfield, NC, sister, Helen Marie Smith, and great-grandson, Ayden Lee Smith.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Smith family.
