Heath Morgan, Sr

Heath Bronson Morgan, Sr., 86, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home in Stanfield. Mr. Morgan was born October 31, 1926 in Stanly County to the late Floyd Ellison Morgan and the late Mattie Pearle Helms Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Virginia Love Morgan, in July of 2005. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland officiated by Rev. Mark Harrell. Burial will be at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Survivors include his son, Heath Bronson Morgan, Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Stanfield; his brothers, Tommy Morgan of Stanfield and Gilbert Morgan of Midland; his sisters, Pat Furr of Oakboro and Janie Johnson of Southport; his grandchildren, Christie Wells of Jacksonville, F. L. and Nicholas Morgan of Upper Marlboro, M. D.; and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Gideon’s International, P. O.
