Heidi Reneé Lookabill

Heidi Lookabill, 51, a cherished mother, Nana, and devoted wife, passed away on Sunday, September 29th 2024. Born on October 6th, 1972, in Winston- Salem, NC, Heidi lived a life filled with compassion, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. Her kind heart and infectious laughter drew everyone in.

As a mother, she was devoted to her children, Kayla Lookabill Bregel, and Jacob Lookabill II, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams and passions. Her home was a haven of love and support, where every family member felt valued and cherished.

Heidi took immense pride in being a Nana to Jameson, Lucy, Kathleen, Rosie, and Killian, creating a special bond with each of them. Whether it was playing games, painting fingernails, reading stories, or attending their events, she relished every moment spent with her grandchildren, leaving a lasting imprint on their hearts.

Heidi is also survived by her loving husband, Jacob Lookabill Sr., who was her partner and best friend of 36 years. Together, they built a life rich with shared experiences and cherished memories. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Heidi is survived by her husband, beloved children, her adored grandchildren, and her mother and father, Margaret and Timothy Riggs. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Dunham, sister, Angela Tetreault, as well as grandparents and in-laws, who welcomed her with open arms.

A memorial service to celebrate Heidi’s life will be determined at a later date and shared via social media.

Heidi's legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but will live on through the countless memories shared by family and friends.
