Dorothy Helen Baker, 94, of Harrisburg, passed away on October 30, 2017.

She was born in Alabama on August 14, 1923 to the late Robert and Mami Morgan Wadkins.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Joyce Ann Winecoff of Harrisburg, NC; her sons, Robert Lee Baker; of Harrisburg, NC; and her son Walter Baker; of Wyoming; three grandchildren, Charlie Sherman, Richard Sherman and Kathy Powers and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and entombment will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017, 11:00 am at the Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC, with Rev. Tim Newton officiating.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg is serving the Baker family.
