Helen Barbee

Helen Rachel Barbee, 97 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Avante at Concord in North Carolina.

Helen was born July 18, 1920 in North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Barbee and two sons; William and James Barbee.

The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Dr., Concord, NC, on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Services will follow in the Chapel, officiated by her grandson, Perry Lemmons. Burial will follow at the Locust Presbyterian Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters; Joyce (Bobby) Lemmons, and Dianne Carelock of Matthews, and numerous grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren.
