Helen Furlin

Helen Edge Furlin, 73, of Midland, left her earthly bonds behind and went home to rest in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 10, 2011. Helen was born on October 16, 1937 to the late Isaac Dewey and Nora Beaver Edge. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Carroll Edge. A service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 100 Pine Grove Church Road, Concord. The family will receive friends following the service. She is survived by sisters, Cathy Kiser, of Midland and Ann Hall and husband, Gary, of Concord; brother, Tom Edge and wife, Deanna, of Eugene, OR; and special nephew, Clay Hall and wife, Michelle, and their son, Gavin, the light of her life. Memorials may be made to Rowan Regional Medical Center Hospice, 720 Grove Street, Salisbury, NC 28144 or Pine Grove Baptist Church, 100 Pine Grove Church Road, Concord, NC 28025.
