Helen Greene

Helen Wishon Greene, age 87, of Concord, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Universal Healthcare. She was born on March 15, 1924 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Burt Elmer and Sarah Elizabeth Barnhardt Wishon. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Melvin Greene. Helen was a member of St. James The Greater Catholic Church and retired from Cannon Mills as an office assistant. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, 2011 at St. James The Greater Catholic Church from 10 – 11AM. The funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Father Joseph Dionne officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. She is survived by her nephews, Dennis Wishon and wife, Dede and Hal Wishon and wife, Kim, all of Concord; nieces, Ann Margaret Bowers and Carol Wishon, both of Concord; brothers, Glenn and Patrick Wishon, of Concord; special brother in law, Everette Greene and wife, Jerri, of Concord; as well as other numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
