Helen Holt

Helen Christine Hitchcock Holt, 79 years of age, of Gold Hill, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her home.

Helen was born May 29, 1934 in Stanly County to the late Leonard Alexander Hitchcock and the late Mary Lillian Wright Hitchcock. She was also preceded in death by husband, Loyde Herman Holt; and nine brothers and sisters.

The graveside service will be at 3 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Matton's Grove United Methodist Church in Gold Hill. Rev. Thomas Todd will officiate the service. At other times the family will be meeting at the home.

She is survived by sons, Jeff and Jason Holt of Gold Hill, and Brad Holt and wife, Gloria of Lexington; grandchildren, Jonathan, Chris, Michael, Hunter, Diana and Nicole Holt; great-granddaughter, April; sisters, Jeanette Barnes of Albemarle, Mildred Moorefield of Greensboro and Lois Ward of Alabama.
