Helen Humberger

Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Green Humberger, 92, passed away on May 24, 2014 at Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord with funeral services to follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel officiated by pastor Jeff Rushing. Helen was born October 29th, 1921 in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of the late David Franklin Green and the late Nannie Bell Tucker Green. She was a member of Westford United Methodist Church. Helen worked at area furniture stores, retiring from Heilig-Meyers as a top saleslady. She was a member of the CWI Credit Women International and worked with Habitat for Humanity. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Randolph Humberger Sr, son Randy Humberger Jr., sister Mrs. Ruth Sides, brothers Billy Ray Green and Wilburn Green. She is survived by two sisters Mrs. Frances Kirby of Concord, Mrs. Shirley Dee (husband-Lynwood Dee) of Harrisburg and one brother James Franklin Green (wife-JoNeal Green) of Harrisburg and many nieces and nephews.
