Helen Kuenzel

Helen Frances Laskowski Kuenzel, 85, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

Helen was born June 25, 1934 in Chicopee, Massachusetts, to the late Fred and Helen Laskowski.  She was also preceded in death by husband, Paul Gerald Kuenzel, and 5 siblings.

Helen liked to decorate cakes, enjoyed many years of square dancing, camping and loved to travel.  She was always willing to help when needed and did not hesitate to extend her home to those in need.  Helen touched more lives than she realized and was loved by many.

Survivors include son, Chris Kuenzel and wife, Paula Ferguson-Kuenzel, of Concord, NC; daughter, Cathy Goodman of Charlotte, NC; son, Mark Kuenzel and wife, Mary, of Commerce Township, MI; granddaughter, Shannon Kuenzel of Concord, NC; grandson, Kyle Kuenzel and wife, Adrienne and step great-grandson son Tom, of Colorado; grandson, Paul Kuenzel and wife, Madison, of Michigan; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Kuenzel; and several nieces, nephews and many friends who considered her family.

A service in celebration of Helen's life will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.  Pastor Don Burleyson will be officiating.
