Helen Little

Helen Beatrice Little, 87, of 413 Winecoff School Road, Concord, NC passed away January 29, 2010, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2010 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Concord, NC. The service will be officiated by the Reverend Edward Pigg. The family will be meeting at the home of Terry Mauney, 1100 Rembrandt Drive, Concord, NC. Mrs. Little was born July 8, 1922 in Stanly County to the late Noah Webster Hathcock and the late Clora Helms Hathcock. She was a retired from Cannon Mills and from Cabarrus Memorial Hospital as a receptionist. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George Leroy Mauney, her second husband Bayne Little and her grandson Dennis Mauney. Survivors include her son- Terry Mauney and his wife Shelby of Concord, brother- Curtis Hathcock of Oakboro, sister- Peggy Furr of Oakboro, grandsons- Chris Mauney and his wife Diomara of Indian Trail, Casey Mauney of Concord, Jason Mauney and his wife Shelley of Concord, granddaughter in law- Carolyn Mauney of Concord.
