Helen Mcclellan

Helen Marie McClellan, Age 78 of 241 Stonewall Circle SW, Concord, North Carolina passed away on October 13, 2009 at her home. Born in Concord, NC on September 28, 1931. Helen was preceded in death by her mother- Zena (Goodman) Layton, and also a brother Ray Osborne Rhinehardt. She was a member of Friendship Southern Baptist Church. She retired from Rich-Tech Mills and later from Cabarrus County Schools as a cafeteria worker. The family meeting place will be at the home. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at Friendship Southern Baptist Church. Funeral service will held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 03:00 PM at Friendship Southern Baptist Church, . with the ministers Rev. Bill Saylor, Rev. George Townsend officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Helen was survived by her spouse- Bennie Hopkins "Pete" McClellan of Concord NC, her Daughter- Bennie McClellan Trull & husband Bobby J. of Concord NC, her sons- Keith McClellan of Concord NC, James McClellan of Washington DC, her special granddaughters- Ashley T. Thompson & husband Antwaun and Amy B. Trull, her Special family friend- Lucille Blackwelder & Coleen Goodman .
