Helen Obermeier

Helen Obermeier, 87, of Stanfield, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Obermeier was born September 4, 1931 to the late Lloyd Michael and Cora Mae Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Obermeier.

Helen is survived by, daughters, Jill Obermeier of Charlotte, Diane Obermeier of Stanfield; sister Evelyn Smith of Locust; favorite nephew, Danny and the sweet Denise Smith of Stanfield and their children, Tyler and Zach Smith; niece, Kathy Glanz and husband Tom of Locust; great nieces, Wendy Mabry of Charlotte and Jera Hartsell of Midland; cousin, Phyllis Fletcher of Locust.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there.  I did not die.
