Helen Louise Smith, 88 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.
Mrs. Smith was born September 5, 1928 to the late Sam and Alma Warren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Bill Smith; brother, Robert Warren, and sisters; Ruth Haynie, and Betty Radford.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle officiated by Pastor Jerry Ingle
Survivors include: son, Ronnie and wife Dianne Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Chris Shook, Jeremy and wife Beth Smith, Chris and wife Meredith Smith; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
