Henrietta Noles, age 83 of 3408 Mt. Pleasant Road N., Concord, North Carolina 28025, passed away on July 28, 2010 at her home in Concord. Born in Monroe, Union County on May 4, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Jim and Annie Hinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Rev. Mason Lee Noles and one son Mason Lee Noles, Jr. Mrs. Noles is survived by her daughters Ruth Maready, Mary Isenhour,and Roxie Funderburk all of Concord NC, one son Clifton "Charlie" Noles of Mt. Pleasant , daughter-in-law Linda Noles of Concord, her sisters Roxie Phillips of Albemarle , Donna Mae Poplin of Albemarle, her brother, Jimmy Hinson of Albemarle and Oscar Hinson of Albemarle NC, 12 grandchildren; Tammy Burris, Tonya Bryant and children, Angela Kiker, Candace Hoggard and husband Michael, Lauren Wallace and husband Robert, Alexis Noles, Clifton Noles, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Roxanne Eaton and husband Billy, Clayton Maready and wife Tiffany, Richard Funderburk, Marshall “Sonny†Isenhour and wife Sheri, and Mandy Morris, great grandchildren; Christina Noles, Hailey, Bradley, Jacob and Jared Hoggard; Kaylee Maready, Kaylee Murph, Karlee Wallace, Taylor Funderburk, Dawson Eaton, Trevor Walsh, Justice, Nathanial and Jackson Isenhour; Felicia, Matthew, Tyler, Ryan Burris and Gunner Brown. Mrs. Noles enjoyed working at Cabarrus County Group Homes where she was employed for 19 years. She enjoyed her trips with the group home to Disney World and the mountains. She enjoyed working with Little Mary, Dwight, Bob, Steve, Kim and Donald. She and her children loved the residence of the group home and made them into a large family bringing them into her home on holidays and taking them to church and activities. She loved cake decorating, doing ceramics with her daughters, working with flowers, gardening and yard work with her sons and brother. Mrs. Noles lived in her home until March 24, 2009 at which time she moved in with her daughter Ruth and husband Windle and granddaughter Kaylee who helped take care of her from the time Kaylee was born till she was 3 ½ years old. God gave “Henri†loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who visited her and made her life enjoyable. Her family and friends know that a loving mother is the greatest gift God can give, thank-you for letting us have her for a short time. A visitation will be held at the home Friday July 30th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 31st at 2:00 pm at New Grace Baptist Church of Concord, Rev. Johnny Morton officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. Pallbearers will be Clayton, Sonny Jr., Charlie, Matt, Tyler and Ryan with grandchildren as honorary pallbearers.
