Henry Lefler

Henry "Sam" Ervin Lefler, 81, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

Mr. Lefler was born August 12, 1932 to the late Lewis and Eileen Lefler. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Lefler, Joe Lefler, Doug Lefler and Mick Lefler; and two sisters, Frances Barnett and Virginia Long.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Friday, March 21, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord Chapel officiated by Pastor Jeff Burris.

He is survived by a daughter, Frannie Long; two grandchildren, Sammy and Cassie Long; and a brother, Lewis "Whitey" Lefler. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cabarrus County Humane Society 2010 Wilshire Ct. SW, Concord, NC 28025.
