Henry Watkins

Henry Wade Watkins, 52 years of age, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at his home in Stanfield. Mr. Watkins was born September 6, 1959 in Rowan County to the late Denver Henry Watkins and Emma Ellen Plyler Watkins. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m., in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ron Perry. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Lynn Helms Watkins, of the home; his daughter, Shannon Marie Grigg of Kannapolis; his brother, L. D. Watkins of Salisbury; and his sisters, Rachel Blackwelder and Edith Smith, both of Salisbury. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Watkins family.
