Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord Herman Watson, 85, of Concord, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at The Oaks at Town Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Lawn Memorial Park in Boone, NC on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Herman was born May 2,1926, to the late James Bilford Watson and the late Aley Mary Wheeler Watson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Loraine Cutlip Watson. Herman was a professional wrestler under the name of Don Red Cloud. He is survived by a son, James Watson and his wife Ruth; three grandchildren, Erin Brafford and her husband Mark, Kristen Kerwood and her husband Bill and Todd Watson and his wife Mandy; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
