Hilda Jane Bean

Hilda Jane Bean, 89, of Concord, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Mrs. Bean was born September 20, 1935 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Luther Foy Moyle and the late Stella Eudy Moyle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Durwood Bean, sisters; Betty Newell, Ruby Eudy, Lillian Almond, and brothers; Jack Moyle, and Max Moyle.

Hilda enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, trips to Cherry Grove Beach, and was a master of jigsaw puzzles.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Friday, December 27, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home. The services are officiated by Reverend Michael Taylor. There will be a private burial at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.

Survivors include, son, Steve (Cynthia) Bean of Kannapolis, NC, brother, Foy (Joyce) Moyle of Mt. Pleasant, grand-daughter, Courtney Bean Tilley (Jayme), grandson, Robert Connor Bean (Tara), and great- grands: Kendall Tilley, Molly Kate Tilley, Asher Bean, Kyson Bean, and Adleigh Bean.
