Hilda Lynn White

Hilda Lynn White (Judy) 84, a beloved resident of Concord, NC left our world on Sunday March 16, 2025. She lived a life of kindness and compassion, always thinking of others. May her memory be a blessing as we carry forth her legacy of love in all that we do. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35.

Judy was born on September 19,1940 to the late Charles E. and Hilda Palmatier of Wappingers Falls, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger White Sr (Jack); her son, Jackie; brothers, Homer, Charlie, and sister, Gail.

She is survived by her daughter Sally White Hines & son-in-law Rusty of Harrisburg, NC; grandson Aaron & wife Kristie of Statesville, NC; granddaughter Alexandra & husband Jamie and great granddaughter Talynn, of Rockwell, NC; brother ‘s Bob & Paul, sister Diane; sister in-law ‘s Bruna and Ann, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews & Godson Robert Foley.

Judy graduated class of 1958 from Wappinger Central School in New York. She was an active member of the Hughsonville Presbyterian Church where she married the love of her life Jack in 1961. She worked for Central Hudson and Deer Hill Conference Center while living in NY and later for IBM in Charlotte, NC. She was a member of Roberta Church in Concord, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Roberta Church 3925 Cochran Rd Concord, NC on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 12pm. The family will receive family and friends beginning at 11am in the Welcome Center. Interment will be at Wappingers Rural Cemetary in New York, on May 24 at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Roberta Church Concord NC, St. Jude, or Charlotte Humane Society, Charlotte NC.
