Hilda Woodruff

Hilda Louise Beam Woodruff, 87 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Davis Healthcare in Wilmington.

Mrs. Woodruff was born May 29, 1928 in Badin, North Carolina to the late John Vester Beam and the late Ila Belle Collins Beam. She was also preceded in death by her brother Paul Vester Beam.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM , Wednesday October 7, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. A graveside service will be on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Memorial Park at 1425 East Main Street in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Andy Jung of First Baptist Church of Albemarle.

Survivors include husband, William Everette Woodruff of Albemarle, daughters, Kim Woodruff Beck and husband Michael, Leslie Woodruff Hales and husband Barry, both of Wilmington, sister, Charlotte Goodman of Charlotte, five grandchildren, Michael William Beck and wife Becky of Los Angeles, CA, Lauren Beck Radakovich and husband Tony of Ft Collins, CO, Wallace Woodruff Hales and wife Natalie of Washington, DC, Caroline Collins Hales of Atlanta, GA, Miller Newport Hales of Wilmington, and one great granddaughter, Stella James Beck of Los Angeles, CA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Organ Fund at First Baptist Church of Albemarle, 202 N. Second Street Albemarle NC, 28001 .
