Biography
Hilma Olene Preslar, 86 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015.
Ms. Preslar was born September 3, 1928 in Union County, NC to the late Berry Shepard Greene and the late Huldah W. Greene.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Preslar; three sisters and two brothers; as well as her grandson Derrick Dixon.
The funeral service will be on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church in Monroe, officiated by Rev. Joey Query, with a 30 minute state prior. Burial will follow at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters, Denise P. Brigman of Monroe, NC, and Teresa (Bobby) Dixon of Patrick, SC; granddaughter Erica Brigman and grandson Phillip Dixon.
