Hobert Bowers

Mr. Hobert Cecil Bowers 65 of 481 Hillendale Street NE Concord, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at CMC NorthEast Medical Center. The family meeting place will be at the home. Born on August, 28, 1944 in Cabarrus County to the late Hobert Daniel Bowers and the late Bennie Corrine Osborne Bowers. Mr. Bowers was a veteran of the US Army and he was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Sheet Metal Mechanic in heating and air. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 12:30 PM until 2 PM. Funeral services will follow in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM, with the Rev. Rex Burleson, Rev. Tim Yates, and Rev. Joy Spry officiating. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. Military rites will be performed at graveside by Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard. Survived by: sisters, Linda Kesler of Salisbury, Lotha Hartsell, Douglas Duty, and Betty Bernard all of Concord; son, Jeffery Wayne Bowers of Wilmington; granddaughter, Ciera Bowers; and special friend, Betty Price of Locust.
