Homer Lee Taylor, 69 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Mr. Taylor was born September 18, 1947 in Stanly County to the late Glenn Coolidge Taylor and the late Mae Belle Taylor.
Homer was a general contractor and his interests included gardening, hunting and fishing.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle.
Survivors include wife, Wadine Taylor of Oakboro; son, Daniel Taylor of Oakboro; daughter, Dena Palmer and husband Marcus of Locust; grandchildren, Kyla Palmer and Braden Palmer; brothers, Larry Taylor, Harold Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Bobby Taylor, and Tommy Taylor; and sisters, Sue Clontz and Glenda Roberson.
