Howard Hedge

Howard Jerome Hedge, 80 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Carolina's Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church of Concord, located at 70 Union Street, Concord, NC 28025. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens, 36 Spring Street, Concord, NC 28026.
Howard was born December 21, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lowell J. Hedge and Essie P. Hedge. He was also preceded in death by his wife Jean; brothers, Weldon, Robert and Leon; sister, Aldena.
Howard was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a 32* Mason, belonging to Dormont-Whitehall Pennsylvania Lodge #684 F&M and the Scottish Rites of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction USA of Charlotte NC.
Survivors include his children, James Alan Hedge of Dormont PA, Karen Ann Rychorcewicz of Butler, PA, Mark Howard Hedge and Dean Gerald Hedge both of Kannapolis NC; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kitty City on Union Street in Concord NC
