Howard Little

“Buck” Howard Ray Little, 76, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Wade Easom officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. At other times the family will meet at the home. Howard was born on June 8, 1935, to the late Claude Buck Little and the late Grace Marie Kiser Little. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Gibson Little; two sons, Rusty Little and wife, Elizabeth of Dallas, NC and Michael Ray Little and wife, Kellie of Kannapolis; a daughter, Linda Little Strange and husband, Scott of Gastonia; five sisters, Louise McQuay, Jane Martin, Barbara Suggs and Gail Anderson, all of Kannapolis and Helen Sherrill of Mooresville; a brother, Danny Little of Kannapolis; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
