Howard Pruett, Jr

Mr. Howard Hasel Pruett, Jr., age 48, of 6111 Hardwood Lane, Concord, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at CMC NorthEast. He was born on June 11, 1962 in Mercer County, West Virginia to Phyllis Ann Coon Pruett and the late Howard Hasel Pruett, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Trula Coon. Howard was a stocker for Harris Teeter. He loved fishing, racing, and collecting Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Jr. memorabilia. The family will receive friends Friday, April 1 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord from 7 to 9 pm. The service will be at 2 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be meeting at the home of Kayla Isbell at 6030 Hardwood Lane, Concord. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Ann Coon Pruett, of the home; brother, Frederick Lee Coon, of Concord; and sister, Lois Wright, of WV.
