Hubert Drye

Hubert "Roddy" Leroy Drye, Jr. 73, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Drye was born June 20, 1947 in Union County to the late Hubert Leroy Drye Sr. and the late Olive Hill Drye.

Roddy was an avid gun collector and enjoyed antique cars. He enjoyed going to the Old Thresher's Reunion in Denton.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Fairview Memorial Park at 1425 East Main Street in Albemarle officiated by Father Jim Bernacki.

Survivors include family members, Kelly Herrin and husband Chris and their son, Chris all of Locust, NC.

A special thanks is extended to Roddy's caregivers; Penny, Diane and Sylvia as well as the staff of Community Hospice.
