Huey Willett

Hubert "Huey" Monroe Willett, Jr., 63, of Concord, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019.

Huey was born July 6, 1956 in Charlotte to the late Hubert and Anne Willett.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lou Ann Willett Walters.

He owned Huey Willett Heating & Air Conditioning for several decades, helping in times of need at all hours no matter the weather.  He'd go out of his way to help anybody.  Huey never met a stranger.  He was the most optimistic man you'd ever meet and would always leave you laughing.  Huey loved all animals, especially dogs and cats.  Valerie and Huey enjoyed trying different restaurants and going to the beach.  He loved his Ford Pickup trucks, especially his signature Red 1985 F-150.

Survivors include Valerie Faggart Ross and her son, Brian, of Concord; nephews, Kevin McLaughlin of Concord and Ben Walters, Jr.; Greg Faggart and wife, Sherry, of Concord; Amy Faggart McGraw of Apopka, FL; Rev. Paul Stewart and wife, Sherry, of Hickory; special friend Serge Mathieu of Concord; and furbaby, Brownie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  The memorial service will be on Thursday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Paul Stewart.
