Hugh Stowe

Mr. Hugh Mason "Ewots" Stowe 64 of 811 Carolyn Avenue Kannapolis passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast Medical Center in Concord. Born on January 14, 1946 in Cabarrus County to the late Francis Marion and Ethel Allman Stowe. Mr. Stowe was a graduate of AL Brown High School and Wingate College, attended E.C.U. and Durham Technical Institute. He was a Nuclear Chemist for McGuire Nuclear Station, and had also worked for Stanley Tools in Concord. Mr. Stowe was the former owner of Cabarrus Dental Arts in Concord. He was an avid Carolina Panther’s fan, and was of the baptist faith. The family meeting place will be the home of his mother-in-law Fran Garmon at 1025 Arrowhead Drive Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 2 until 3:30 PM. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 4 PM. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Survived by: wife, Denyse Garmon Stowe of the home; step-son, Richard William Broome of Concord; brothers, David Stowe of Raleigh, and Gary Stowe of Barryville VA; grandchildren, Dylan Zane Broome, Chandler William Broome and their half-sisters Haley and Morgan.
