Ida Gresham

Ida Elizabeth Dukes Gresham, 86 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Betty was born October 17, 1929 in Dorchester County, SC to the late Joseph Kitt Dukes and the late Lela Agnes Baker Dukes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John E. Gresham; and daughter, Ann Elizabeth Gresham.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Central United Methodist Church in the fellowship hall. The funeral service will follow at 2pm in the church sanctuary, officiated by Rev. Jim Yow. The burial will be at 3pm at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
She is survived by her son, John Darrell Gresham of Albemarle; daughter, Donna Gresham of Albemarle; grandson, John Mitchell Gresham; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, and family .
Betty was a nursery caregiver at Central United Methodist Church for over 30 years.
