Ida Morgan

Ida Faye Burnette Morgan, 81, of Locust, NC, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Morgan was born May 20, 1929, in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Webster Morgan in 2005; father, Fleakus Alexander Burnette; and mother, Hattie Minerva Simpson Burnette. Visitation will be 7 – 9, Thursday, May 5, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her son, Robert Morgan, of Locust; grandson, Wesley Morgan, of Richfield; brothers, Ike Burnette of Locust, Ted Burnette of Midland, Wade Burnette of Monroe, and John Burnette of Red Cross; sisters, Judy Eudy and Ann Simpson of Concord, Lula Nance of Stanfield, and Mary Chaney of Marshville. Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, is serving the Morgan family.
