Ida Mildred Purser Hall

Mildred Hall, 94 years of age, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 17,2019.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters Hazel Hilton, Pauline Stevenson and four brothers Harold, June, Jake and Jerry Purser and one grandson Thomas Hall lll.

Mildred was a loving mother and (great-great) grandmother, an avid gardener, treasured caretaker, incredible cook, and social butterfly. All who know her have witnessed her loving grace, her childlike joy, her love of laughter, and her endlessly surprising spunk. Mildred, often called Granny or Gran, was filled with loving kindness and will be greatly missed by her family and friends in this present world. She was a truly special and unique lady with a heart of gold. Her name, Mildred, (meaning gentle strength), fits her perfectly.

She loved her family and church family so very much; they blessed her with their love and care. Steadfast in the Lord, her prayers are always felt in our lives.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Hall Jr.; and daughter Kathryn Hall (Rod Teets); sister Billie Tarlton; grandchildren Michael (Adriana), Lisa, Dawn (Donnie), Brandy (Sidney), Lanny (Ellen) and Jesse (Kara); great-grandchildren Isabella, Marco, Alysa, Daniel, Brittany (David), Samantha,Seth, Holden and Hadley; great-great-grandchildren Mason and Emily Rose; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 11:45 am, Friday, September 20, 2019, at United Love Baptist Church, 11487 Flowes Store Road, Midland. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm officiated by Rev. Marvin Tyson. Mildred will be entombed at the Lakeland Memorial Park at 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe.
