Ina Andrew

Ina Marion Livingston Andrew, 84, of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 at her home. The family will receive friends at First Presbyterian Church Parlor, on Friday, December 14, 2012, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Ayscue, will follow at First Presbyterian Church, on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory. At other times, the family will meet at her home. She was born on May 31, 1928, to the late John Bunyan Livingston and the late Clara Jarvis Livingston. She was also preceded in death by her husband Samuel Ralph Andrew Jr. in 2002, a daughter Susan A. Duncan, and a granddaughter Amanda Livingston Duncan; seven brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Andrew is survived by one daughter, Marion Andrew Miller and husband Charles of Martinsville, VA; a son-in-law, Craig T. Duncan of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren, Leslie Miller Naradikian, Andrew Gregory Duncan, Mary Livingston Miller, Alina Susan Duncan, Rebecca Miller McGown, Adriel Leah Duncan, Charles Allan Miller and Aaron Craig Duncan; five great grandchildren, Natalie Susan Duncan, Matthew Ryan Duncan, Souren Markar Charles Naradikian, Hannah Susan Duncan, and Katherine Elizabeth Duncan. She was a 1949 graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Charlotte. Mrs. Andrew was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Albemarle for over 50 years and active in numerous civic clubs and community service. Memorials may be made to charity of the donor choice.
