Inez Anderson-Banton

January 14, 1943 — April 16, 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we deliver this message from Inez Maude Anderson-Banton today.

Inez would like for us to inform you that her work here is done.  She received a call, sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. The opportunity to finally meet her father Lord in Jesus Christ and reunite with a few of her greatest love – Susie Sasha and Mama Iris.  Job security is exactly 110 percent, which we know is fitting for her- a woman that worked two jobs to ensure her family had everything they needed.  Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing (starting prayer lines and developing building funds), gardening, playing Dominoes, playing puzzles and reading to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. She will have a variety of food to choose from and gain as much weight as she wants. She left detailed instructions for her children, family, Unity Church Family and friends to honor and continue her mission she started here. We knew her well; these were written instructions as she has never been afraid to speak her truth and as we all know her to be “Truth Serum”.

Inez Banton passed peacefully on Thursday April 16, 2020 at a young age of 77 with her family by her side.  This loving mother is survived by her beautiful children: Raymond, Karen, Michele and Suzanne. Grand children: Natasha, Sadikie, Gary, Deshoun, Raeshawn. Sammy, Khloe and Courtland.  Great-grandchildren: Jackson, Westin and Logan. Sisters: Cutie and Daphne.   Extended sons and daughters that she was grateful to take these children off her hands.  They failed at this mission, but she loved you all very much: Vivienne, Reodd, Randy, May, Damali and Stephanie.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousin, Unity Church family and friends.  Preceded in death by her loving husband Linbert, Parents: Iris and Aston and Granddaughter one of her true love Susie-Sasha.

Mom was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.   As a loving mother, we were happy to share her with you all and we thank you for loving her as much as we did. Let’s continue to celebrate the life and legacy of a true solider of Christ.

From her children, her legacy and greatest creation, Raymond, Karen, Michele and Suzanne.
