Inez Rogers

Inez Rogers, 81 of 25753 Austin Road, Albemarle, NC passed away on July 24, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 30 at Lighthouse Baptist Church. The family will receive friends after the service. Rev. Clinton Efird will officiate. Mrs. Rogers was born in Lee County, NC on July 12, 1930 to the late B. D. and Pearl Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margurite Jordan; and brothers, James Pierce and Billy Pierce. Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, John L. Rogers; son, Bradley Rogers of Albemarle; daughter, Mary Frances Privett of Albemarle; grandson, Ronald Lavell Privett of Albemarle; sisters, K.D. Bowling of Harrisburg, Dot Strickland of Fuquay, Fay Hines of Four Oaks; brothers, Troy Lee Pierce of Apex, Carl Pierce of Harrisonburg, VA, and Charles Pierce of Cary.
