Ira Barbee

Ira Claude Barbee, 74 years of age, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at his home in Locust, NC. He was born November 13, 1938 in to the late Realus Barbee and the late Joy Hartsell Barbee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday at Providence Church of God, 12474 Hwy 24-27 Locust, with a 30 minute state. Rev. Donald Lisk will officiate. Burial will follow at Locust Presbyterian Church. Survivors include son, Jonathan R. Barbee and wife Angie of Stanfield, NC, daughter, Claudette Harris and husband Jimmy of Stanfield, NC, daughter, Kim Wilson and husband Steve of Stanfield, NC, brother, Joe Barbee of Locust, NC, sister, Donnie Page of Locust, NC, and grandchildren; Brittany, Mitchell, Jesse, Katie, Abby, and Cody. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Barbee family.
