Ira Taylor

Ira Lee Taylor, 69 years of age, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Big Elm Rehabilitation and Living Centers in Kannapolis.

Lee was born June 20, 1947 in Cabarrus County to the late Ira Lee Taylor Sr. and the late Essie Rivenbark Taylor.

Lee was a member of the Covenant Church of Harrisburg. The graveside service will be on Saturday at June 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Harrisburg Presbyterian Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Charles M. Efird. The family will be available to visit with friends and family after the service.

Survivors include his sister, Gail Taylor of Greenwood, SC; and aunt and uncle, James "Burr" and Jenna Sue Taylor of Harrisburg.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
