Iris Raynor

Iris Yvonne Raynor of Harrisburg, NC passed away March 26, 2019 at Saint Francis Nursing Center in Newport News, Virginia. She was 87.

Mrs. Raynor was a member for many years of the First Church of God in Norfolk, VA and Concord, NC.

Mrs. Raynor was a loving mother and wife. She gave her children many gifts, one most importantly was the ability to love unconditionally. She loved to cook and share time with her extended family.

Mrs. Raynor is survived by her husband, of 70 years, Edward  Raynor and children with spouses: Joe and Nancy Raynor, John and Jamie Raynor, Jerry and Lori Raynor, and Judy and Kurt Faubion, and Jimmy and Susie Raynor; and two sisters Brenda Holt and Linda Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 10:00 am, located at Hartsell Funeral Home, 12115 University City Blvd., Harrisburg, NC 28075. Burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Hampton Roads, VA.
