Ivy Gray

Ivy "Babe" Gray, 85 years of age, of Rockwell, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.
Mr. Gray was born June 10, 1930 in Cabarrus County to the late William Ivy Gray and the late Sarah Simpson Gray. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Susie Cline Gray.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm , Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel to be officiated by Pastor Chad Kyler. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Survivors include daughter, Nancy Kluttz and husband Sonny of Rockwell; son, Garry Gray and wife Vicky of Rockwell; stepdaughter, Judy Gregory and husband Lewis of Kill Devil Hills; grandchildren, Shawn and Rick Gregory, Nathan Gray, Darrell and Brad Kluttz, and brother; Don Gray, Sr. of Rockwell.
The family would like to thank the staff at Woodhaven Court, Bethany Woods of Albemarle and Montgomery County Hospice.
