J. Aaron Wagoner, 96 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Mr. Wagoner was born December 3, 1919 in Rowan County to the late Ervin Arline Wagoner and the late Fleda Wagoner. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Peeler.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at First Lutheran Church, 230 South Second Street, Albemarle. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev John Futterer. Burial will follow at the Brookhill Gardens in Rockwell.
Survivors include wife of 74 years, Sarah Ruth Wagoner, daughters, Peggy Eddins and husband Donald and Connie Rosenbaum and husband Ed all of Albemarle, grandchildren Tony Eddins (Kristi), David Eddins (Olivia), and Megan Watson (Michael), and three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, 230 South Second Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
