Jack Franklin Barbee, 78 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.
Jack was born May 23, 1937, to the late Lee Barbee and the late Letha Whitley Barbee.
He was also preceded in death by a brother James "Jim" Barbee in 2013.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015, at Barbee's Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Phillip Smith. Burial will follow at Smith's Grove Cemetery on Highway 138, Oakboro.
Survivors include sister in law, Ann Barbee of Oakboro, NC.
