Hartsell Funeral Home Concord (704)786 1161 PO Box 367 Concord, NC 28026 Mr. Jack Ray Cline, 80, of 4451 Cold Springs Road, Concord, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, on Friday from 6 until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant, on Saturday at 11:00 am with the Rev. Alan Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family meeting place will be the home. He is preceded in death by: sons, John Anthony "Tony" Cline and Jack Ray Cline as well as brothers, Vance Cline Jr., Eugene Cline, and John W. Cline. He is survived by: wife, Ellen Stancil Cline, of the home; son, Mark Cline and wife Andrea, of Mt. Pleasant; daughters, Amy Robinson and husband Donald and Kathy Cranford and husband Aaron, all of Concord; sister, Bess Cline Beaver, of Concord; grandchildren, Crystal Whitmire and husband Michael, of Concord and Jessica Cline, of Banner Elk; great grandchildren, Max and Jake Whitmire; step grandchildren, Brian Robinson, Jantzen Cranford, Natalie Bailey, and Crystal Heafner. Pall bearers: Brian Mills, Brian Stancil, Larry Stancil, Richard Stancil, Michael Whitmire, and Dale Cline. Born September 5, 1929 in Cabarrus County to the late Vance Clifford and Martha Walker Cline. Jack was a retired farm manager with Propst Brothers, who he gave over 50 years of service. Jack served under various capacities, faithfully with the Propst family. He was a veteran of the National Guard where he served as a sergeant with Company E.
