Jack Dennis, Jr.

Jack "Jackie" Mungo Dennis, Jr., 66, of Mint Hill, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022.

Jackie was born August 1, 1955 in North Carolina to Frances Eugenia McGuirt Dennis and the late Jack Mungo Dennis Sr.
He was also preceded in death by brother, David Reid Dennis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland officiated by Pastor Joe Mullis. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens at 8901 Lawyers Rd., Mint Hill.

Survivors include mother, Frances Eugenia McGuirt Dennis of Mint Hill, NC; daughters, Angela Dennis of Dallas, NC and Melissa Ann Dennis of Charlotte, NC; siblings, Teresa Dennis, Scott (Tammie) Dennis, Cheryl (Glenn) Byland, and Beth (Eric) Johnson; 6 grandchildren, 9 nieces and nephews, 13 great-nieces and nephews, and 4 step-sons.

Jackie loved the Lord more than anything and was a child of God. He enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR racing, and was an avid coin collector. Jackie loved spending time with his family and friends.
